The true fans are often considered to be those closest to the stage, first three rows. But I'd argue that it is those fans sitting in the hardest places to get to who are the true fans. They navigate up steep steps like mountain goats to get to seats where to them the musicians look like tiny action figures, and they clap, yell, scream, and stomp their feet like there's no tomorrow. Here's to the folks with less disposable income who nevertheless manage to find the time, money, and climbing skills to attend the show.
