My Topographica attempt to portray a really interesting character from Frank Herbert's Dune science fiction universe. The Guild Navigators are humans who are extremely adept at guiding large staships known as heighliners, using a limited form of prescience to safely navigate interstellar space. They become prescient through massive consumption of a spice called melange.
The process gradually enables them to be able to see the future trajectory of their ship, but at a price: they become addicted to the spice, their appearance becomes elongated and aquatic, and their eyes turn a deep blackish blue, the trademark color of the spice addict. They are an integral part of the Dune ecosystem, since without them interstellar trade would not be possible.
This poster has a partly glossy, partly matte finish and it'll add a touch of sophistication to any room.
